Nido Early School Harrisdale hosts Diwali celebrations

Nido Early School Harrisdale is excited to invite families and the local community to celebrate Diwali, the vibrant festival of lights. Spanning two days on Tuesday, 29th October and Wednesday, 30th October, from 9:00am to 10:30am, Nido Early School Harrisdale at 19 Morlup Road, Harrisdale, Perth, will host a variety of fun-filled activities that reflect the festive spirit of Diwali.

Diwali is celebrated by millions around the globe and signifies the victory of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. By hosting Diwali, Nido is fostering an environment that embraces multicultural festivities and encourages children to appreciate diverse cultural traditions from around the world.

The two-day program includes:

  • Diwali Cultural Experiences: Learn about the rich tradition of Diwali through displays and storytelling sessions that describe the festival’s significance.
  • Arts & Crafts: Children and families can enjoy activities such as Henna Drawing, Rangoli designs, Diya decoration, Diwali playdough and Bhandan diya crafts.
  • Music & Dance: Enjoy vibrant music and dance performances by artists that will create an unmatched festive atmosphere.
