Location

The Curate Studio is located at 63 Grantham Street, Wembley.

It is located at the corner of Grantham Street and Marlow Street (across the street from the Grantham Street Veterinary Clinic).

The Curate Studio is the white shopfront on the corner of Grantham Street and Marlow Street.

At the entrance to the Western Suburbs, 63 Grantham offers an enviable position with a beautiful art and music space, with great access to public transit and major highways in a coveted Western Suburbs neighbourhood.

The venue is accessible; however, it does not feature accessible toilets nor baby changing facilities.

If you possess questions, please contact us at patricia@curate.org.au or at 0434 351 142.

Parking

There are several parking options for the 63 Grantham Street Curate Studio.

There is a carpark located just before 53 Grantham Street, that serves the row of shopfronts in which we are located (there is a photo lab, hair stylist, etc. all in the same row of shops).

Street parking is also available in front of 63 Grantham; however, it does act as a clearway at times, so please check the parking signs first before parking there to avoid being ticketed.

Street parking is available on Marlow Street, too. Please be mindful of the parking signs.

And, finally, there is a Town of Cambridge – Grantham Street Car Park located behind MUMMUC and Monsterella Pizza (access points include Griffiths Lane and Jersey Street).

Be Road Wise this Season!

We want to see you in the New Year, so please stay safe this holiday season visiting friends, family and loved ones.

Speeding is one of the biggest causes of accidents during the busy holiday season, so please consider your speed as you travel along the roads and thoroughfares of Western Australia.

Here is some info that can help keep you and your loved ones safe this holiday season:

đźš— The distance you take to stop can make all the difference

đźš— Your stopping distance due to speeding could be the difference between someone escaping with little more than a scare and a pedestrian losing their life.

🚗 Reaction distance is the distance you travel between seeing a problem and hitting the brakes. If you’re doing 60km/h, you’ll still travel 25 metres in the time it takes for the message to get from your brain to your foot.

🚗 Braking distance is the number of metres you travel between hitting the brakes and coming to a complete stop. You’ll cover another 20 metres before this happens, assuming you’re driving on a dry road, in a newer car with good tyres and brakes.

🚗 Stopping distance is the distance when you add your reaction distance to your braking distance. If you’re doing 60km/h, you should come to a stop within 45 metres. If you are speeding, it is easy to see that 5km/hr over the speed limit, will greatly impact your ability to brake in time to avoid a crash.

Reducing your speed for the conditions

đźš— There will also be times when it is safer to adjust your speed down from the posted limit to accommodate for conditions such as rain, traffic density, loose surfaces, low light and poor visibility.

ℹ️ For more information on how to stay safe this season, check out Speeding.
