Beethoven’s Triple Concerto is one of his most glorious compositions. It’s also a rarity as a concerto for a trio (violin, cello and piano) with orchestra and his only concerto featuring the cello. The Triple Concerto is intimate yet grand and above all most beautiful. FCO is thrilled Rebecca Glorie (violin), Melinda Forsythe (cello) and Tommaso Pollio (piano), feature as soloists.

Schubert composed his Symphony 1 when he was only 16 and it clearly shows the promise of the master of most beautiful melodies. It’s disarmingly charming, exuberant and grand, the perfect opener.

With the fabulous John Keene as conductor this promises to be a highlight of your 2024 concert season.
